Eligibility & Qualification
- For B.Tech Candidates must have passed or be appearing for the 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
- A minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories) is required in the qualifying examination.
- For Pharmacy Candidates must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology.

Examination Pattern
- HPCET is conducted in offline mode (pen-and-paper-based test).
- The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options
- For B.Tech aspirants: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- For Pharmacy aspirants: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
- Each correct answer is awarded 2 marks, and 0.5 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
- The exam duration is 3 hours, with equal time allocated for all subjects.
- Total Marks: 150 marks.
